This property is located in Southeast Missouri and just a few miles North of the famous Reelfoot Wildlife Management Area. The property is located East of Dorena Ferry on the Mississippi River and across the Mississippi River from Hickman, Kentucky.
General Description:
This property is a turn key hunting and outdoor recreational paradise. The wildlife is professionally managed by Dr, Grant Woods. The seller owns 950 acres and leases an adjacent 1150 acres. There are 200 acres tillable on the 950 acres, and the owner leaves his share in the duck pot holes and food plots for deer and turkey. There was a 170 and 149 Bc taken off the
farm this fall. Wild turkeys were harvested in both the fall and springs seasons this past year. There are 100 acres of winter wheat and corn in the duck holes. The property has 75 acres flooded with about half green timber and about 1/2 in planted corn.
Improvement Notes:
The lodge is 5000sf heat & air in the living area and shop. The lodge is fully furnished with two extra long couches (over 100” each), and a chair and a half. The dining table seats 8 and the game table has a flip top to be used for eating and can seat 6. The kitchen is fully equipped and very large. There is a bar with stools as well. The back porch is screened in. The shop/lodge has the same bath arrangement with two showers, two toilets, and double sinks. There is a closed shop area for tools and bins with decoys stored on top. There are two picnic tables in the shop and racks for hanging waders.
There is one large 1400 sq ft bunkhouse with 8 single beds in additional to the king size bed in a separate bedroom. The bunkhouse has one bathroom with two showers, two toilets, double sinks and a stacked washer and dryer.
