When a property has a street or road address, please place that information in the address lines.
Otherwise, a short description may be used, such as "East of Highway 34" or "Between Town A and Town B," to mark the address of the property.
Specifying address lines is not required when creating a property listing.

Many properties have names used in sales literature, and those names should be used when naming properties in Terrascend.
If your property does not have a name associated with it, create one that is simple, short, and descriptive when listing it with Terrascend.

Describes the basic or primary function of a property listed on Terrascend.
Every property listed on Terrascend must be associated with at least one property type.

A type of Terrascend property listing that is only displayed for three months from the date created and may not be edited or deleted.
It is strongly recommended that a standard Terrascend property listing be created instead, as both are free of charge.

Terrascend allows you to search listings, as well as create them, using acres or hectares, called the "area type."
When interested parties view a particular listing, the area displayed with that property is set to the area type that they used to search. Therefore, if a listing is created specifying hectares and an interested party finds it when searching with the area type of acres, the size of the property in hectares is automatically converted to acres when the property is displayed.
This allows you to create property listings using the local area type in use in the property's area, and Terrascend will convert this amount automatically to the area type the end user is expecting.

If the names of the various soil types are known when listing a property, please submit that information.
The soil type is particularly important for row crop farms, vegetable farms, or other agricultural properties.

In the United States, these organizational units are called "states." However, elsewhere in the world, they may be called other things.
Terrascend provides a menu of states to select from after a country is selected.
